The Impact of the Asean Charter on Thailand's Domestic Law

Abstract
This paper discusses the impact of the ASEAN Charter on the domestic laws of Thailand. The article first introduces the background, purpose, and significance of the study. Then it outlines the relevant content and development process of the ASEAN Charter, as well as an overview of Thailand's domestic laws. Next, the paper analyzes in detail the influence of the ASEAN Charter on the Thai Constitution, administrative law, and civil law, and elucidates the position of the ASEAN Charter in Thailand's domestic legal system. Finally, by drawing insights from the ASEAN Charter's impact on Thailand's domestic laws, the importance of legal consistency, the application and alignment of international law, and the construction of the rule of law are emphasized. The paper concludes with a summary of the research findings and identifies areas for further research and prospects.
