Abstract
Against the backdrop of economic globalization, national security reviews of foreign investments have become a significant legal obstacle for Chinese multinational corporations in their overseas investment activities. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and trends of national security review systems in major economies such as the United States and the European Union. Combining case studies of investments by Chinese multinational corporations, it proposes systematic and targeted legal adaptation strategies from aspects including pre-investment risk assessment, investment structure design, defense strategies during reviews, and post-review remedies. These strategies aim to help Chinese multinational corporations enhance the compliance and security of their overseas investments.
