Abstract
Minzu University has an important position of national education in China, and all ethnic cultures gathered here to show "Every form of Beauty has its uniqueness and Beauty represents itself with diversity and integrity." To forge a sense of national unity is the foundation of the development of Minzu Universities and the soul of moral education. What kind of people, how to cultivate people, and for whom to cultivate people are the fundamental problems of ethnic education, and therefore it's difficult to adapt to the needs in the new era only depending on traditional, single characteristic discipline to lead the discipline system. The study took Q Minzu University in Northwest China as an example, based on the Balance Perspective to measure discipline scale, density, and level, meanwhile analyzing main body disciplines, main trunk disciplines, supporting disciplines, and advantageous disciplines of Minzu Universities under the System Perspective, as well as the difficulties and practical challenges faced by discipline quality, general disciplines and the discipline group in Minzu Universities. Finally, based on the document "Adjustment, Optimization, and Reform Plan for Discipline Setting of General Higher Education" issued by the Ministry of Education of China, this study puts forward specific measures and suggestions from three aspects: breaking through the closed development in the province, optimizing the discipline structure and improving the overall discipline quality, which provides the theoretical basis and practical guidance for the effective integration of discipline construction in Minzu universities.
