Abstract
Under new engineering science background, cultivating ecological awareness and national identity among engineering students has become a pressing educational priority. This study takes the electrical engineering and automation major as a case study, aiming to address the challenges of integrating environmental education into non-environmental disciplines. By analyzing student learning characteristics, aligning teaching objectives with professional needs, and adopting innovative pedagogical approaches (e.g., case-based learning, flipped classrooms, and interdisciplinary integration), this paper proposes a tailored teaching model. The model emphasizes real-world applications, problem-solving skills, and the cultivation of sustainable development concepts, ensuring graduates meet the demands of the new engineering paradigm.
