Abstract
Based on Bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives, this paper discusses the practice of ideological and political education in reading courses for English majors, and analyzes how to effectively implement ideological and political education and improve the teaching efficiency by taking the unit teaching with the theme of "Traffic (High-speed Railway Development in China)" as an example.
