Abstract
Computer Networks is one of the core required courses offered in the second semester of the sophomore year for computer science and related majors. The course features rigorous theory, strong engineering orientation, and close ties to industry development, plays a bridging role in professional talent education. This course is not only a crucial foundational subject for students to enhance their professional competence, but also an effective vehicle for universities to fulfill the fundamental mission of cultivating virtue and talent, implementing the overall national security concept, and nurturing a new generation of network technology professionals. By systematically analyzing the necessity and feasibility of integrating moral and ideological education into computer network courses, this study proposes a holistic teaching model and implementation strategy that organically integrates ideological and political education through the four-in-one approach: value guidance, theoretical instruction, practical application, and quality development. Practical teaching experience has shown that naturally embedding ideological and political education into every class effectively enhances students' overall competence and sense of social responsibility.
