Abstract
Anchor cables are crucial supporting components in geotechnical engineering, and their performance evaluation is essential for ensuring the safety and stability of engineering projects. Nondestructive testing (NDT) technology has become an important tool for evaluating anchor cable performance due to its advantages of being non-invasive, fast, and accurate. This paper analyzes the basic principles and classifications of NDT technologies, explores their advantages and limitations in anchor cable performance evaluation, and addresses issues related to accuracy, data analysis, result interpretation, and technical adaptability in practical applications. Optimization strategies are proposed to improve the precision and stability of detection techniques, enhance the scientificity of data processing, and improve the adaptability of these technologies.
