Abstract
Research on how small rural business networks linking agriculture, culture and tourism create value and when this value delivers long-term benefits to the local area. Based on research of small tourism enterprises, we consider value co-creation, value capture and embeddedness. The framework comprises resource translation, experience coordination, rights negotiation and local retention. The analysis examines how rural resources are transformed into tourist services and how pricing, procurement and payment arrangements affect the local economy. Local outcomes also affect the residents' continued application of operating skills, their impact on cultural expression and access to common areas. Published studies and reports from Masha Town show resource use and business arrangements. The proposed links require testing with contracts, accounts and observations over an extended period.
