Abstract
With the rapid development of the sports industry, the scale of sports events is expanding and the number of participants is increasing year by year, the safety and risk management of sports events has become a key issue of concern to all sectors of society. Sporting events involve not only the athletes' competitive performance, but also the management and legal responsibilities in a number of areas such as event organisation, spectator safety and media communication. From the perspective of sports law, this paper discusses the safety management and risk control mechanism in sports event activities, analyses the current legal problems, and puts forward legal proposals to improve the safety management system of sports events. The article firstly reviews the basic framework and theoretical foundation of sports law, systematically combs through the types of risks in sports events and their management methods, and finally puts forward the legal safeguards for the safety and risk management of sports events through the comparison and study of relevant laws, aiming to provide useful theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting the construction of the rule of law in sports in China.
