Abstract
With the development of mobile Internet, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technology, university libraries at home and abroad have gradually realized the digitization and management automation of resources. In this paper, the current situation, development trend, technical characteristics and application scenarios of self-service borrowing and returning of books are studied, in order to provide useful reference for improving the service efficiency, security, intelligence and reader experience of university libraries.
