Abstract
With the rapid development of Internet technology, the business landscape has undergone great changes, and the application of Long-tail theory in corporate strategy is increasingly prominent. This article focuses on the research of enterprise strategy based on the long-tail theory, and takes Pinduoduo, a representative e-commerce platform, as a case for in-depth analysis. By examining Pinduoduo's business model, market positioning, marketing strategies, and other aspects, it reveals how the company leverages the Long Tail theory to tap into niche markets, satisfy numerous minority and personalized demands, and achieve differentiated competition. The study finds that Pinduoduo leverages the advantages of the Internet to reduce the sales costs of niche products, expand market boundaries, and form a unique business ecosystem. An in-depth exploration of Pinduoduo's corporate strategy based on the Long Tail theory not only helps to understand the underlying logic of its success but also provides valuable insights and inspiration for other companies to formulate strategies in a fiercely competitive market environment, possessing significant theoretical and practical implications.
